I am so scared on Saturday I was hungover from drinking on Friday so I took two aspirin. I knew there would be drug testing when I got there but I figured aspirin would be OK. Now today packing to get ready to leave tomorrow I read an email from my recruiter that says don't take any cold medicines.... not even aspirin up to 2 weeks beforehand. So my question is I leave tomorrow- will taking an 2 aspirin on saturday make me fail my drug test??! FREAKING OUT! |

WHAT?! You took ASPIRIN! Just stay home, they are going to turn you right around and send you back once they find a positive test result of aspirin. Why did you do that?! |

Everyone knows aspirin is one of the worst gateway drugs. Before you know it you'll be down at the needle exchange. Poor OP. I feel for you. |

You might be able to get away with it as long as you only took two--but just to be sure, you should go to your local drug store (if you're in the States, Target or Walmart are good places) and buy a home drug test kit. Explain to the pharmacist or clerk that you specifically need one that tests for aspirin. If they don't have one (they are often sold out) go to a different store, and keep looking until you find one.
Good luck! My fingers are crossed! |

When they found the Aspirin related chemicals in my urine sample, I wasn't deported. I was put on an intensive methadone program to help kick that habit. |

I'd say you are screwed. I would get out of the country for a bit, or just don't go the hospital. That's it, say you are too sick to go to the hospital. |

I wish that people on this board would stop trying to help drug users get into this country. |

Since all foreigners are addicted to hard drugs like aspirin, I don't see why they even bother testing. The only ones who pass are the clever ones who cheat the system. |

Given the amount of time between the original post and this one, I'm feeling really uncomfortable with the idea that BlinkerOn and I might be in the same country...I'm going to call the police. |
