I went to a church next to a police box for a wedding. It turned out to be the wrong church. I went into the station and asked for help. The cops inside had trouble explaining to me exactly where the church was located. Finally one guy said, "Follow me".

So he got in his cruiser and I followed him to the right church. It was really cool of the officer to do that. Big props for the Dongdaemun cops on Sunday!

You've been ARRESTED???

Allright, calm down dude. Relax. We can get this sorted.

Just don't enter a plea. Try and source a shovel, you're going to have to tunnel out. Give me a call, I'll get you a lawyer.

That is cool, Q.A.~!

The KNP ain't half bad as long as you're courteous and cool and MAY even
be more helpful in a serious jam.

Thanks for share'n!

I wasn't going to say anything but my wife encouraged me to share. She thought it was the coolest thing. I think it's one of those, "only in Korea" moments. I can't imagine a cop in America doing that for a foreigner but they could surprise me. Cheers.

My car died (overheated) while crossing the border from Sarawak-Malaysia to Temburong-Brunei Darussalam recently. The nice cops guarding the Brunei border gave me a push Cool

No truer words were ever said. I remember a Korea Herald writer did pieces on how inept Korean cops were, then backed off.

That is pretty cool.

Few years back I was in Jeju and went running one day. It was like my third day there and I got really lost (for those fans of mine like northway and patrickbusan I was running shirtless).
A spotted a cop car and flagged him down. He and his partner motioned for me to get in the back. I was pouring sweat but they said it was ok. Jumped in the back and they drove me back to my apartment.

Thats nice of them. No cop in my home country would ever do that unless I'd just witnessed a shooting. Most they would do is call a cab Sad

My parents are cruising with their sailboat down in Central America. I told them about my wedding escort story. They then told me about a situation where the El Salvadore navy escorted them to where they needed to check out of the country. They said it was pretty cool to have a big navy ship saying, "follow us".
