|
|
I currently have a E2 visa that expires the same day my contract ends in Busan. I have read that I can apply for a D10 visa when my contract ends but my visa will have expired at the same time can I apply for the visa before that time?
Also, I will be applying for jobs in Seoul before hand will I need to get the visa re-issued there or can I do that at immigration in Busan. I know that need to get a new ARC for my job in Seoul, which brings up the question of pension. When I eventually leave Korea, I only have to go to the pension office in Incheon Intl airport to get all of my pension I've accrued while in Korea. I don't need to collect it at different offices in Korea in Seoul and Busan. The system isn't that decentralized, right? |

I may be mistaken but your visa should have been 13 months long, but you work for the first 12 months? That last month is for you to sort all your stuff out.
Either way, you are gonna have to head down to immi in advance and apply for an d10 visa. I went down yesterday, had to fill out 2 forms, pay 10k and wait for 2 weeks roughly.
Also I know I made a mistake, should read 'a d10' but I'm posting off my phone and can't edit it.
Deal with it. |

Thanks for the information, it takes about approximately two weeks to get the visa. How early can you apply for the visa I just want to make sure that I am downgraded before the E2 expires. |
