OK, fight fans, bars in Itaewon like Sam Ryans and others should be showing the Mayweather-Cotto fight Sunday morning, though I'm thinking the fight will probably come around 1 p.m. or so.
Mayweather is the clear favorite but will fight at the heavier weight of 154 pounds, which will work in Cotto's favor. Props to Floyd for not insisting on a catchweight. Should Cotto score the upset, and he could with a punch similar to what Shane Mosley landed on Floyd a few fights ago, that could set up a rematch with the Pac-man. I've basically given up hope of a Pac-man-Mayweather fight (many say it would've happened by now if it was to be).
The vast majority of experts say Mayweather will take the fight in a unanimous decision or KO Cotto late. Still, this is an intriguing fight given what is at stake for both men (Mayweather is off to prison for 90 days afterwards, and an upset win for Cotto will set up a lucrative rematch with Pac-man). |

Fight time should be a little after 1 p.m. Sunday KST. Hopefully it'll be a good fight without a bizarre ending or ridiculous scoring. |

And Mayweather wins a unanimous decision though Cotto gave him a good fight. Considering Pac-man knocked out Cotto, the prospect of a Pac-man-Mayweather fight, if it ever happens, is more salivating than ever. |

If Pacman walks through Bradley, as he should, then I would agree that it is still a fight worth salivating over. If he doesn't, then I will acquiesce to what so many fight afficianados believe and that is that Pacman is slowing down and past his prime.
Given how much trouble Marquez gives Pac, while considering how Mayweather made Marquez look like a child in the ring, I'm already leaning toward Pacman slowing down.
Hope not though. Love Pac, but Mayweather is the best technical fighter I have ever seen. Couple that with amazing talent and you get the best in the biz.
Complete douchebag though lol. |

I thought Cotto did a lot better than I expected. Mayweather shows why he's the best in the business. I have given up on expecting him and Pacquiao will ever fight though. I can't count the number of times I've been disappointed by those two.
I also thought Mosley did better than I expected too. I think Canelo vs Cotto will be a good fight, although I think Cotto wins at this stage. |

I think they will fight. Pac and Floyd both love money.
and they know this fight will be the biggest PPV fight in history.
and probably one of the biggest fights in history.
they would both walk away with over 70 million dollars each
I think they will meet next year.
considering they are the same age, 35 it doesn't really matter when they meet as it's a fair fight by age standards. |
