Is the process a relatively straight forward one?
As a first step I know it will be necessary to cancel my current E2 by submitting a letter of resignation to the employer informing them of
my last working day[30 days forward]
I would also need confirmation of acceptance into a Korean studies program to receive a student visa- currently looking, probably in Seoul.
i would appreciate any assistance from those of you with any insight into how to obtain a student visa, after having an E2.

I did it last fall.
Pretty painless. You just need LOR from your school. I was finished my contract so it was a little cleaner, but I still needed to show an LOR at immigration.
You need to update your bank book on the day of to show you have at least 3 million in savings. You also need documents showing you've paid tuition and are enrolled in a program. |
