Probably an easy question for those that know. I'm sure this is somewhere in the forums somewhere, but I couldn't find information.
Is an Olleh iPhone 4s unlocked?
So would it work with a SIM from straighttalk.com which requires "Unlocked Phone (Phone must operate in 850 and 1900 MHz bands)"?
I'd like to know before I get the SIM card. Thanks. |

It is if you finish off the contract or pay the remaining balance on the phone when you leave. If you didn't finish the contract then, no, it isnt. |

So I asked olleh and got a partial answer: "2011-11-11일부터 개통된 아이폰은 최초 개통 후 활성화(아이튠즈 연결) 시 자동으로 컨트리락 해제 상태로 처리되니 염려하지 않으셔도 됩니다."
Apparently there is no country lock anymore at least for Olleh from 2011/11/11. Now about the other question can anyone field that one? |

I'm using an Iphone4 in the US now.
KT unlocked it when I faxed them a copy of my roundtrip air ticket (printed from my email).
However, I'm not sure if you can get 3G access here. AT&T told me that since I'm not using one of their phones and I was only getting the pay as you go plan, then I wouldn't have access to their 3G network...$50/month for unlimited messages/calls. |

That'll do as proof enough for me.
FYI, I tried ordering a straighttalk SIM from Korea and got denied because I'm not physically in the US. |
