There is a new ad up for SNU LEI. If you meet the quals for the job and thinking about applying, I suggest you contact a few teachers who have worked there before. You will find that with a masters you can find much better ops at other unis. SNU LEI has the worst management in Korea. |

So, are you:
1. Someone who actually knows something since you've worked there
or
2. Someone who wants to work there so are trying to deter others |

Why would I apply if I said it is the worst management I know of? |

Neither here nor there, but I have a couple of close friends who work there and dig it. The pay and conditions are, at least from what they've told me, fair enough. In fact, they turned down university 'regular' positions to work at the LEI as the pay is better.
I've been divorced from the ESL market for way too many years to know the real deal, but I can at least pass along what I get from the people still in the know.
If you're qualified, then by all means, yes, contact a few people currently there and find out personally if it's worth applying. |
