Hey everyone!
So I'm pretty sure I'm going to be teaching in Korea this fall! After all of my research I think I would be happy in a big city. I'm originally a city person to begin with. I've been in NYC for several months and loved it.
Anyway, my question is, do schools in Seoul, public and private offer a lower salary for teachers? I do understand one would spend more money in Seoul, but do they also get paid less?

Any tips or advice would be appreciated !Smile

depends on the school but yes, hakwons know Seoul is preferable to many expat teachers as well as that there are many available living there so salaries are not as competitive as in the outer regions.
