I got my hands on a friends kindle a while back and I really liked it much more than I thought I would. I wanted to devote a thread to the NOOK e-readers as I intend to buy one. I thought about getting a tablet but I find I like to stay away from computers when I leave my computer and I've always been around them from a young age. E-readers use e-ink which is easy on the eyes and a refreshing change from plasma..

I thought I'd start by introducing the nook simple touch with glow light, which is the model I want. Anyone have a nook or intend to get one? or do you have a Kindle?

Any experiences with both?
Like, dislike, change of habit from traditional books.

I had the nook without the glowlight, and it was fabulous. Bought it for a friend and got to use it until she picked it up and payed me back for it. Thinking about getting one myself when I return home.
