I can't seem to get the torrents from Pirate Bay to work anymore since they switched their system. When I click on "Get Torrent" it opens up uTorrent but there are no files to select when it asks me where to download to.
What am I doing wrong? |

make sure your torrent client is up to date. utorrent for windows is good, transmission for mac is good.
click the magnet icon and it'll open the torrent in your torrent client. sometimes magnets appear to be slow or empty, but once the torrent info is downloaded it'll be have like a normal torrent.
i use TPB fairly regularly and have no problem with magnetic links. they can be slow to kick in, so let the torrent load and wait for it to update.
if you can't get the hang of it, use isohunt ... they're the same as TPB pretty much. |

Magnet links don't show you the list of component files by default.
That doesn't mean the link contains no file.
Just proceed as if it's an ordinary .torrent file, you're able to check the file list once download starts. |

It takes time for uTorrent, or any other client, to obtain the metadata for the torrent you want to download from other peers. Once that is downloaded, you will be able to see the file structure, and the torrent will begin downloading.
You can set your download location in advance through the torrent client preference pane. |
