I met a few teachers who taught at a GKI school in Pungnapdong, Seongpa-Gu. It was a reasonably large place with more than 15 foreign teachers. None of them were unhappy there. They did, however, complain a bit about the text books they had to work with... full of errors, crappy content etc... it's how the hagwon makes a lot of money, selling their books to the kids - a new set every month or so... so lots of pressure put on the teachers to get through the books. |
