I'm due to fly out of Korea in late August after my contract finishes. I may return in due time, but I might not. I would put the odds at about 50/50.

Assuming I won't ever come back to Korea, can anyone recommend something I have to see or do before I leave? I know about Gyeongju, and I might see that on a long weekend. But if you had to leave in about eight weeks, what would you do?

Hike up Chiri San once the rainy season has passed. You can walk through clouds.

And drink.

Isn't it just SOOO true that there are only 3 replies to this question!

THERE IS NOTHING TO DO IN THIS COUNTRY!

Save your money...go home and do everything you couldn't do because you were poor!

Gyeongju isn't all it's cracked up to be!

Seen one temple...seen 'em all!

There might be some merit in your advice. So when are you leaving monkey?

Oops...didn't answer the other question...I'm leaving in 64 days!
