If one were to make a weekend trip to Daegu, what would be some things to do/see?
Planning to take in a baseball game on the Saturday, but the rest of the weekend is up in the air.
I've gone through the Korea Lonely Planet and come up with shopping, the herbal medicine market, and that's about it.
Would definitely consider going outside of the city, and maybe going to Haein-sa on the Sunday.
Any other recommendations?
Places to eat and sleep are welcome as well. |

There's a viewing tower with an amusement park beside it.
Good shopping in a 'Myeongdong like' area.

Cool, thanks.
I'm a sucker for viewing towers. One of my favourite things to do in any city I visit.
Any recommendations for places/things to eat? I've heard Daegu has some great local specialties.
Places to stay would be great too. |
