Every Korean already knows but in case you've been living in a mountain monastery cut off from civilization eating baek kimchi, roots and leaves...
D3 launches next Tuesday at 4:01PM Seoul time!
I'll be working from my home office on that day...and the next day... |

12 years in the making. D2 was all I heard about from my male students back in the day. I haven't heard much about D2 for a while. I suppose that this will renew some enthusiasm. |

Advertised as being 45 quid (that's over 70 bucks to you lot) on the .eu battlenet site. Blizzard are such a bunch of money grabbing bastards, guess I won't be buying it for a while. |

I'm quite confused when it comes to the in game language of the game (I don't really care about the real money action house). My battle new account is Korean, so the copy which comes up there is the 55,000 won Korean copy. Their website quite clearly said that the Korean version will not include an English option. However when I contact Blizzard support they told me to just buy the Korean copy and change the language in game, so I did. The pre-install is clearly in Korean, but Blizzard support is insisting that my version is the English version... |

I already purchased two licenses so we can slay multiplayer in my hood. Will be able to start downloading Tuesday morning and then game goes online at 4pm.
Yeah I registered as Battle.Net Americas account and got the Global all-languages version. When researching I was pretty sure it said the Korean version was Korean only...
"If you purchased the Korean, Russian-language-only, traditional-Chinese-language-only, or another language-limited version of Diablo III, you will only be able to switch to the languages youve purchased."

Someone will probably die, seriously. They go for days without moving from their seat, playing none stop, coke, pizza, until collapsing from exhaustion. There was that one incident where someone stole someone's items in the game and the guy found the guy in real life and killed him. I would say the real money auction house would solve that, but it is banned in Korea due to gambling rules.
It's gonna be insane in the PC bangs!!! |

Really? Everywhere I've been the machines are pretty respectable and run pretty much any game on the market. If you've been seeing 1gig of ram advertised recently... maybe it's your reading that's letting you down, and they are advertising 1gb of VIDEO ram.
In conclusion, I'm sure that 95%+ of PC Bangs will be able to run diablo 3 competently. |

I guess it is a bit of a mixed bag. I was paying more attention lately and found a few that seemed pretty solid. Still, I'm glad I won't have to rely on one, lol. |

They already have lines for Koreans purchasing the Collector's Edition. The CE looks great, IMO, wish I bought one over the digital download. |

Installed it last night, now 5 hours until game time!
By the way if your Battle.net account is registered as a NA or EU country (check your "Country of Residence" field), then you need to play in that region (which is set in the game options). Hopefully there is not a lag playing from KR in the NA region...can only change the country of residence by sending Blizzard proof of residence. |

I don't think this is true. The region can be changed in game. However, you can only use real money auction house in the region which your account is registered in, and the Korean account cannot change language to English. You can for example play on the NA server with Korean account, but then you'll have to play the game in Korean and without real money auction house. |

The topic has confussed a lot of people, especially people who move around various countries.
To clarify, the region which is set in the game can be changed. But the regin on your b.net account can not be easily changed. The regin set in the game MUST match the regin in your b.net account or you can't connect.
They say they will launch "global play" in the future, which means you can use a NA b.net account and play in the ASIA region, or an EU b.net account to play in the NA region...but no word on when that will be launched. |

I have already created a character on the Asian server and one on the European server using the same battle.net account. I can't connect to the NA server yet, but that is apparently because it's not live yet and it will become available soon. |
