| So, I'm a fresh college graduate from a pretty good school in the U.S. with a science degree and no traditional teaching experience. I've been offered a job at LCI Kids Club in Gwangju, and after receiving two revised versions of my contract per my requests, I'm pretty satisfied with it and am leaning towards taking the offer. I know the main concerns about working at private schools is being overworked and not getting paid enough, but honestly, I'm just not worried about working a lot and not making that much money, especially since I'm new to this field. I've read mixed reviews about this school on various sites, although the more recent ones have been more positive than the earlier ones. Anyways, I would appreciate any information or advice about this school, but keep it sounding reasonable. I will ignore you if you say something like "THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE DON'T WORK THERE" without offering any reason or information. |

Honestly, I don't know about that LCI, but a friend of mine worked at an LCI at another city, and he liked it well enough. He enjoyed teaching the kids, but it was hard work. I can't remember all the details, and I can't say anything about the branch in Gwangju. It's you and your luck. |
