|
|
Hey guys,
Got a question for you. Suppose someone's on a tourist visa for 90 days and he's been in Korea for almost 90 days. Then he goes home (Singapore) for two weeks just before his visa expires. Now would he be able to come back to Korea as a tourist after the two - week break? How does it actually work? |

It may be a single entry tourism visa OR a dual entry tourism visa.
If it is single entry, one must go through the process of getting a new visa from square one after they have entered and then left Korea once.
If it is dual entry, they can enter Korea twice.
Dual entry tourism visa holders have I think a 6 month window in which to visit the country twice (each visit may last up to 3 months from any date of entry).
So, if your 6 month window expires on Jan. 3rd and you enter on Jan. 1st, you'll have a full 3 months to stay.

Is it an actual tourist visa (c3) or a visa entry stamp (b2) and are you traveling on a Sing passport. It makes a difference.
If you are traveling on a tourist visa waiver (b2) then you can return and get a new 90 days on arrival.
If you had a C3 then you need to apply for a new one before you can return.
