I used to teach ESL in Korea, but am now living in Ukraine with another Canadian while we do some editing. My friend's wife works as an online ESL teacher to Russians. The Skype/Online modle seems to be very popular with the slavic countries.

But I'm curious to know how well the online model is doing in Korea given the Hogwan culture. In particular:

1. How big the Skype teaching Market is (and how fast it is growing)

2. Are jobs mostly done privately or through companies (and if so, which companies?)

3. How are either the private tutors or the sompanies advertising and finding students?

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
