I hadn't seen this one before:

She seems to be fairly handy with her fists. Taekwondo?

A woman loses her right to be treat like a lady when she starts throwing punches. If you're going to hit like a man you deserve to get beat down like a man

FFS... good argument between two Chinese girls here, but I hate when an argument is called 'fighting'

My favourite is the black guy who clowns that ajossi on the bus. If you're going to make cheeky remarks or try ordering people about for no reason you need to back it up. That guy got what a lot of ajossis have been asking for for a long time. A Confucian society can work if the older generations are mature and reasonable, but there's no surprise things like this happen when older people just use their status to bully anyone younger than themselves

These overreactions are basically just a case of something finally triggering a massive stress-release.
She looks like either she has to pay uncles gambling debts by selling her body, or she just found hubby cheating.

Poor innocent victim looks totally miffed, lol.

But according to the commentary, it was a mistake on the foreign guy's part, and there was no offensive remark. Anyone have a link to the story that explains one way or the other?

I was under the impression the old guy made some sort of demand of, or comment about, the guy or girl he was with, and it escalated when the black guy misinterpreted '...니까' to be a racist slur. No doubt the guy overreacted, but somebody will now and then if they are pushed too often

Yeah, but IF what you say is correct, the black guy is in the wrong and a bit of an asshole.

I'm all for arrogant people getting their just desserts, but you better make sure they deserve it. They guy who posted above saying he was happy that the Korean guy got "clowned" is displaying the exact same attitude that sees us non-Koreans treated like criminals because of what a few individuals have done. It's never right to shit on an innocent person just because they celong to a group you don't like.

Anyway, those videos are interesting to watch, if only to see the variety of ways bystanders react. Pack behaviour is amazing to watch.

Ajosshis have been living in a fools paradise for so long they think the rest of the world functions like this.

Sorry but in the real world you don't get to act like a king unless you're 6ft 6...famous... or very rich.

In other words, male, and in the case of rich, likely an older moneyed married male.

Now an older, moneyed, married male. Sounds like...some ajosshis! So I guess ajosshis do act like the rest of the world.

Agreed.

Let's take Julius' statement and change it-

Quote:
NETs have been living in a fools paradise for so long they think the rest of the world functions like this.

Sorry but in the real world you don't get to act like a king unless you're 6ft 6...famous... or very rich.

Some Korean people might throw that out when they complain of an isolated incident involving publicly drunk foreigners. Pointing out how the other 5.5 billion people on the planet don't follow the drunk-NET mentality and don't get paid simply for speaking their birth language and having a degree...

But they'd be wrong to be so bitter because they are judging by the group and most NETs are fine decent people. It's wrong for them to do it to us and its wrong for us to do it to them.

How would we feel if there was some video where a slightly moronic foreigner gets smashed for acting stupid and a bunch of Korean people post some stuff like "foreigners are asking for it"?

Et tu brute?
