Hi All

Can anyone please guide me where can I buy really low cost maternity cloth for pregnant females? As they are for short term use only, I am not interested in putting much money in them

Thanks for sharing any related information

I have heard some people have found items in Dongdaemoon (the basement level of one of the shops - Doota or Migliore, I can't remember offhand which).

Gmarket has a selection of maternity wear as well: http://search.gmarket.co.kr/search.aspx?selecturl=total&sheaderkey=&SearchClassFormWord=goodsSearch&keywordOrg=%C0%D3%BD%C5&keywordCVT=%C0%D3%BD%C5%BA%B9%2C%C0%D3%BD%C5%BA%B9%BF%F8%C7%C7%BD%BA%2C%C0%D3%BD%C5%2C%C0%D3%BD%C5%C3%E2%BB%EA%C0%B0%BE%C6%B4%EB%B9%E9%B0%FA%2C%C0%D3%BD%C5%B0%FA+%C3%E2%BB%EA%2C%B3%BB%B8%F6+%C0%D3%BD%C5%C3%E2%BB%EA+%BC%B3%B8%ED%BC%AD%2C%C0%D3%BD%C5%C7%DF%B4%CF%3F+%BE%F0%B4%CF%B0%A1+%B5%B5%BF%CD%C1%D9%B0%D4%21%2C%C0%D3%BD%C5%C7%CF%B8%E9+%BF%D6+%B0%B3%2C+%B0%ED%BE%E7%C0%CC%B8%A6+%B9%F6%B8%B1%B1%EE%3F%2C%BE%C6%BA%FC%C0%C7+%C0%D3%BD%C5%2C%B3%BB+%BB%FD%BE%D6+%C3%B9+%C0%D3%BD%C5+%C3%E2%BB%EA+%C0%B0%BE%C6%C3%A5&keywordCVTi=1&keyword=%C0%D3%BD%C5%BA%B9

Then there's also H&M, but they are more pricey.

In my opinion, quality maternity clothes are a must. Not only do you get unbelievably huge wearing them (and therefore stretch them out a lot), it will be several months post partum before a woman can expect to fit back into her pre-pregnancy clothes (this varies from woman to woman, of course). If the clothes are too cheap they will get stretched out of shape and you'll have to think about getting new ones after the baby is born. I'm wearing maternity clothes that I used for my first pregnancy again now with my second and they definitely fit differently this time around.

Last time I was in the basement of doota about a year or year and a half ago, there were no maternity shops there. The mythical "basement" floor of doota where there were apparently foreigner sized shops with bigger clothes disappeared years ago during a renovation.

You will still find some larger clothes at doota, but you have to go to each individual shop and check them. The last I Saw the basement it was just generic sports and shoe shops

You might want to check craigslist or facebook groups for expat parents in Korea, to see if anyone is selling theirs second-hand. That's what I did.
