|
|
I've been asking my Korean friends how to go about getting my propane tank refilled, I'd usually just go to the gas station in Canada to get it done but they seem to think that isn't an option here.
Anybody know how to get my tank refilled? I'd hate to waste the money on buying a new one. I live in HBC.
Cheers! |

Call the gas company. They come with a full tank and take yours away.
You cannot go to get it refilled.

Probably not. If you are in HBC you probably have natural gas to your stove and water heater.
Find the nearest restaurant with blue LPG (propane) tanks and get the number from them for the local supplier. You can also catch up to the bongo truck running around with a bunch of tanks in the back and get a swap or have them come to you.

Thanks for the advice- I'll see about finding some restaurants in the area with the blue tanks. |

Are you talking about the BBQ propane tank that is about about a half-meter wide and fits a traditional western gas grill/range? If so, you can get it refilled (or swapped out, really, for a full tank) for 30,000 at the Haddon Supermarket near Oksu-dong and the Hannam Bridge and UN Village area. Their number is 02-794-0511. They are open everyday. |
