Did you ever meet your K-GF's parents as a friend of hers, and then reveal later that you two are dating?

How did it go down? Did you meet them again soon afterward or did it go into "no bringing a boyfriend to meet us until you're engaged mode"?

I was introduced as a "friend" by my wife almost 10 years ago. I dont think my wifes parents believed it for one second.

I never met my future parent-in-laws. We got married in the UK and then a year after the marriage, we finally decided to meet. That was the first time I went to Korea.
