I don't know anything about the school, but I can tell you that it's a pretty nice area. It's smack dab in the middle of Ilsan, near a big mall called La Festa. Lots of great options for restaurants from all over, and some pretty good nightlife. There are also express buses going from there to Seoul Station and Shinchon that take about a half hour.
