I'm really interested in the Spark LT. It's the first mini in Korea that I've found to be stylish enough to drive. I'd like to buy used because a new one would set me back about 12 million won with my trade in.

I like the Spark because:
1. It has good lines and is sporty enough.
2. According to youtube reviews: It goes 150kph easily enough, It's roomier than it looks, and it's quite safe with a full complement of airbags.
3. The 1000cc engine makes it really cheap for car tax.
4. It's got double the mpg of anything out there right now.

I've been checking some of the used car sites and the prices have been varying a lot and not a huge discount from new...as they are 2011-12 models to begin with. I found used ones as cheap as 8.8 million.

I guess my questions are:

What do you think of the Spark?
Should I go new or used?

Isn't the Spark just a re-branded Matiz?

Yes, it is. It's been re-engineered by Chevy, though. I think it's much nicer than the previous gen.
