1st, girl just stares at me expecting me to spew out my order. 2nd Jamsil and now Gangnam beef burritos have gone through some metamorphosis. They've been koreanized. Shame on you Dostacos. I understand you get a lot of Korean business too, but don't change what initially brought you fame and fortune. I will likely never return after this experience. Am I the only one who noticed this change? I take my food seriously and expect quality at certain establishments because that's what their in business for. |

Mcdonalds is fast food. Can't tell you what the burger is made out of, so it goes into the fast food category for me. I don't consider a burrito fast food. I know what goes in a burrito. |

Don't listen to the detractors - Mexican food is bliss. That being said, Dos Tacos is a long way from Nirvana, and getting further away as we speak. I just had lunch there today, as a matter of fact, and I seem to always be further disappointed with each visit. Last time there was a bit of saran wrap in my burrito, and this time the "beef" tasted like rubber. I suspect it might actually have been. I think that's the last Dos Tacos visit for me. I'll just have to settle for On The Border from now on, or make my own Mexican food at home. |

I'm just happy that we finally have a good taco place in Incheon, thanks to my friend and his lovely wife. I love cooking, but tacos are one of those foods that I like having made for me. I'm getting my fish taco fix this weekend. Tacos are on my top 5 list of favorite foods. |

Lack of context has me wondering what exactly is the problem here. Girl (I guess you mean staff??) expects you to order? In a restaurant? Ordering in restaurants is fairly normal I believe. |

Ah, sorry about that. It's called Taco Cielo. It's on the 6th floor of the building just next to the one that has O'Malley's. There's a Mango 6 on the first floor. There are some slightly fusion things (the cocktail sauce on the shrimp taco has a bit of gochujang in it that is strangely awesome, and there's a bulgogi taco) but they work. They do hard shell, soft wheat shell, and soft corn shell. I always go for the soft wheat. They get fresh tortillas from a local factory in Incheon.
I've only ever had the shrimp and fish varieties, and my husband only gets veggie ones (loaded with refried beans [no lard used]) but we love them. My friends love the chicken and beef varieties. They also have San Miguel (sp?) on tap, as well as Guiness and a few others.
Usually, we go there first, before hitting the other places in Art Center. Sure, it's not as though you're buying it off the truck in California, but it's good food and I don't have to travel to Seoul or cook when I have a hankering for a couple of tacos.
Most tacos are 3,500 won, but the seafood ones (and maybe the steak ones) are 3,900 won each. On Tuesdays, however, they're 1,000 cheaper. |

Hell yeah. When a westerner, let alone a friend, opens up a place that I like, you'd better believe I'll let people know about it. There aren't enough good places to eat non-Korean food in Incheon, so the ones that we've got should get as much good press as possible. If you opened up a restaurant, wouldn't you want people letting others know about it in every way possible? |

I don't often go to Dos Tacos, but I've never had a problem with the food there. What specifically has changed about the food? Only one person in this thread has given specifics. |

It is disappointing to hear that Dos Tacos is starting to serve up Korean "burritos." Given more time Koreans would have been won over to Tex-Mex, but the Korean-Borg-Kimchi assimilation takes place once again.
BTW, wouldn't it ironic if Taco Bell ended up as the only authentic Tex-Mex in Korea? |
