I am interested in opening a business in Korea. If I brought 100 million to Korea would have to used all of it in the business initially or could I used it as back up money to pay wages and invest it in Korea in the mean time.
Also what does it "Korean guarantor" mean? "The regulations surrounding the visa and foreign business ownership have been criticized for requiring a Korean guarantor" |

You only need to put it up against the visa. They don't track the money after it. The D8 visa is sometimes used as a scam visa by certain groups who pay a fee to get documents indicating they have that much money, getting the visa, then basically getting 5 free years to do whatever they want in Korea. The government never tracks the money or asks to see what you're doing with it. |
