I don't think either of us is totally vegetarian, but I've decided I'd like to take a friend to a vegetarian restaurant in Seoul.

I know there are often many vegetarian options at 순두부 houses, but I'm looking more for something fresh, creative, and not too pretentious.

Any recommendations are welcomed!

Loving Hut is an international vegan chain~ you can get vegan versions of lots of Korean and Western foods (depending on where you go)~ Here is the page for the ones in Seoul ^.^

There are also tofu restaurants that serve tons of different kinds of tofu dishes in a family-style set-up~ So fun (especially if you love tofu~). I went to one in a different town and it had three kinds of tofu soups (and biji, which is really interesting and unique~) soft tofu, rainbow tofu, and more~~

Well 'Seven Springs' is good! It's not vegan/vegetarian, but they are american-style buffet.
