Is there any business life to weekends here? What language business opportunities exist for permanent residents? Do academies usually offer classes on the weekends? |

Lots of hagwons are open, but they usually make their regulars work those hours... I found it really difficult to find any hagwons who just needed weekend work... I found a couple, but they were all old and just hadn't been updated... I found one that was in another city (2 hours by bus away) and even they were like "do we really need a foreigner to work for us?" If you can find one, great, but if you want weekend work, it'll take a lot of legwork to find it.
On the other hand, if you're looking for business English classes, those are pretty common... but usually at night on the weekdays. |

Assuming that you have an F visa, you can go to agencies that will find part time work for you. Just tell them that you are looking specifically for weekend work. If you're working under the table, then it's just a matter of going door to door and asking around among colleagues.
What city are you in? |

If you're on an F-2 you can print flyers and post them on the bulletin boards next to the elevators in apartment complexes. Going rate is 50,000-60,000KRW/50min. I do 17 classes/week. |

I have seen a couple of weekend classes offered through public schools. This is rarer than at hogwans but it is possible to find. |

May I ask where you found these? I looked around but never saw anything like that... Was it a matter of going to the schools and just asking, or is there a website or something that you found them on? Thanks!
