Hi everyone, looking for a little help here. My wife will be joining me in the US soon, and we want to see if she can bring her smartphone with and use it here.

The phone's model is IM-A720L and the 3G network is HSDPA 2100. From what I can tell, T-Mobile and AT&T both support that network.

Can she get the phone unlocked in Korea, then get a SIM card over here and get it on one of those networks? I've been googling for awhile but can't get any specific answers for this particular model- not exactly a popular import for US smartphone enthusiasts.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

the KT and and SK telecom version I think. I had a korean sky vega express that worked just fine in the philipines with a sim card.
