Is Yongsan really the best place to buy computers? I went there last weekend and didn't really see a great deal that interested me. I've got my eye on Asus specifically, is that a brand that isn't very well represented in Korea? Is there anywhere else I should be looking at?
Thanks |

Yongsan is a big place.
If you only went upstairs from the subway station you saw the worst of it (highest prices and lowest selection).
Read the stickies above.

The internet site Danawa (price comparison website) has Asus computers. It's all in Korean but is, in my humble opinion, the best place to find whatever you're looking for. |

danawa and gmarket are probably your best bets. i went to yongsan this past weekend just to scope out the wares and almost all of the dealers are still advertising last gen gpu's for the price of this gen's goods. |

Thanks for your replies.
I went over the walkway to that arcade at the back of the station (don't know what that's called) as well as the arcade with all the stalls outside (not sure what that one is either) and just didn't see much Asus. In fact I didn't see any of the N series which is what I'm after.
A bit intimidating using an all-Korean site for a big purchase like this, but I'll give it a try. |
