|
|
After you've been here a while you get sick of job provided housing. I don't want to live in HBC with a bunch of other expats. I just want something simple in central Seoul that doesn't have too many expats around. I'm looking to spend 600 000-800 000 won a month with 5 000 000 key money.....any tips??? Thanks!!!
Of course my Korean speaking is pretty basic so I'm looking for a rental agent who can speak English.
Much appreciated |

Try realestate.daum.net
that link has pretty much all of what's available, easy to search the areas you like, and with some basic korean reading (and google translate) you can pretty much work out how much things cost in your area.
English speaking realtors are great...if you like paying more for less, or you want to live in HBC/Itaewon.
What are you going to do when the boiler breaks? Or you have a problem with the landlord (who doesn't speak English). Your realtor has already made his cut, and doesn't give a damn about you. You're probably going to ask a friend to help... as such, I'd suggest asking a friend to spend a few hours with you at a realtor (after you've done the legwork on that site, and found a few good ones). That way, you're not paying the expat rate and you have a majority of options available to you. |
