It's nice, but not particularly convenient for large areas of the city. Furthermore, the fare is independent of Line 1, so you need to pay again to transfer. I believe that stands for buses as well.

looks like it covers the city pretty well though. It's still impressive that a small city like Uijeongbu has it. Changwon is much bigger and has no rail bar Korail - biggest disappointment of Changwon. Ulsan also has no metro lines afaik.

Trust me, it's not particularly accessible for quite a bit of the city, and it won't be very useful on the eastern end until the large construction projects are finished and populated. Uijeongbu is loaded with buses and traffic is never that bad, so the U-Line is and will be little more than a novelty for many of the city's inhabitants unless free transfers between buses and the Seoul Metro are set up.

Yeah, but Ulsan buses do a nice job, even if i want to go from Nam Gu to Bang Eo Jin. What you don't want in Ulsan is to be caught on a bus going to a high school out in the country just before school begins or after it ends. You would envy a sardine.

Soju sucks, does it go to Costco? Laughing

I'm curious about this too. Does it cut down the travel times to Costco?
