I know there is a DNS malware thing going around, but I don't have that issue.
I have just moved house and got KT internet. The speed is good but when I am using a ton of bandwidth (torrents,or even FTP to another device in my home network I get random DNS lookup errors. I refresh the browser and it fixes itself.
I didn't think bandwidth would cause DNS lookup errors, but on googling it, torrents can if you are using a router as I am. I re installed an older version of utorrent and it seemed to help, but I still got the errors when using FTP.
I put the KT DNS server addresses directly into my win7 network settings and the router DNS settings just now.
My question is should i use KT DNS or put in another, for example Google's DNS?
What do you guys use? |
