|
|
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and my name's Greg. I have a quick question that I hope one of you can answer.
I just received my FBI background check, and since I live in the D.C. area, I'm going to the U.S. State Dept. tomorrow in person to get an Apostille. Now, I also need an Apostille for the photcopy of my diploma (which I have already had notarized). My question is, can I kill two birds with one stone tomorrow at the State Dept. and get an Apostille for both documents? Or does the diploma require an Apostille from my state's (Maryland's) Secretary of State's office?
Thanks! |

I could be wrong, but I think it's supposed to be from the state in which it was issued. |

Thanks. That's what I was thinking; guess I'll just have a lot of running around to do tomorrow. |

Double check and make sure there isn't an office closer to you. Massachusetts is tiny yet we have two offices that can do apostilles, so it might be that there's one in the DC burbs (or at least Baltimore). You may not need to drive all the way to Annapolis.
Also, as I said, I may be mistaken, but that's my understanding, |
