I'm interested in taking a trip here during the summer holiday.

Anything to do here worth while? This place is located in eastern/northeastern Kyonggi, I believe. About a couple hours from Seoul.

I've been to the east side of Kyonggi province and have found that these areas are mostly rural settings with a few hotels here and there with mostly just scenery to look at. Not much else.

Might be a good place to relax for the week. I'll be sure to book travel and accomodations in advance.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I posted a reply to this, but I don't see it, so I'll do it again. Assuming that you're referring to Chuncheon, in Kangwon Province, it's the place where I live. A clean and smallish city by Korean standards, the setting is quite scenic. There's a (man-made) lake with rental boats, or one can take the lake cruise in a bigger boat. And some of the most impressive expats in the land dwell here; you can meet most of them at the Hard-Rock Bar behind Kangwon National University on a Friday or Saturday night. Come on up. Enjoy. You can actually breathe the air and drink the water.
