I'm on an F6 and looking to get some extra shifts to work around my regular job which is a 1-5PM (and on the other side of town from where I live). I've done Business English positions in Gangnam ( convenient because i live in Jamsil), but would like to get regular two or three hour block or shifts every day. I've got an MA TESOL, CELTA and 5 years experience.
From looking at the Business English positions, it seems difficult to get two in a morning as they are all 7-8, 7:30-8:30 etc and dry up after 9AM. My question is has anybody had any luck in approaching recruiters with specific times they want to work (rather than the other way round)?
Also, it is also possible for me to switch my schedule to a 9-1. Do you think there would be more opportunities to pick up extra work (after-school programmes, etc) if i did this (rather than the morning)? I am also not averse to working a 6-9PM etc instead of the morning, are there many opportunities at those times?
Any advice would be much appreciated. |
