So weird...I always thought that used cars were really overpriced in Korea, and I was thinking $800 for a 15-year old car?!?

And then I checked Kelley's blue book online, and they say over $2000...

lol...I apologize for thinking that your price was high. Wink Good luck with your sale!

Huck - honestly the fact that my car (and most of the used cars being sold here) is still in good running condition even though it is considered quite old, and the fact that repairs are super cheap (compared to the USA for example) actually makes buying used cars here a VERY affordable option.

Nora - I paid around $400 but that is because I went with an insurance company that specializes in dealing with foreigners, English speaking agents, English roadside service, etc. If going with a regular Korean insurance company, you could probably get away with only liability insurance for around 300-350,000 for the year (of course depending on your age, driving history, etc.).
