Me and my friends were talking about this the other week...one lad said he thought it was banned here. We also talked about shipping some over and selling it.. If anyone knows where you can get some let me know..

There's no need to miss Red Bull. Korea offers plenty of other energy drinks. Bacchus -F is the most famous, but there are others. My favorite (and for me, the strongest) is 'Ja Hwang'. It comes in silver-foil wrapped bottles.

You can get your energy drinks at any pharmacy. They're sold over the counter, and you can but them by the box. A bottle will usually run 1500-2000 won depending on the brand (volume discounts on boxes).

I buy Bacchus but it really isn't a drink like Red Bull.

Feels like I'm drinking medicine

as far as i know you cant buy red bull here. The only way you could possibly get it is if you have a friend in the US military. I am pretty sure they have it there.

For total effect, bacchus-f and soju is about the same or better than Red Bull and Vodka.

And believe me, soju kills the taste of just about anything.

we've a friend who works on the base, he's our crackbull pimp! but he's leaving soon. we will go into withdrawl when he leaves for sure... it's not the same as the redbull back in canada though, it's carbonated, still good though.
