in Bruce Cumings' book Korea's Place in the Sun there is a photo of a gigantic shinto shrine which he says is on South Mountain in Seoul. ive looked in different tourist guides and on the net and i cant find anything about it. does it still exist? where exactly is it?

Namsan is South Mtn. The shrine was built by the hated Japanese in 1923 and destroyed by the Koreans after the Japanese withdrawal as a symbol of Japanese repression of Korean culture.
