Probably a silly question, but I'm not sure if I should bring my yoga mat or not because it takes up a lot of suitcase space. I practice yoga most days a week and I think it will be the thing that keeps me sane adjusting to a foreign country.

Would I be able to find yoga mats in Korea? I'll be living sorta near Seoul. I could make do without for a while, I figure. But I'm not sure.

Thanks.

You will definitely be able to get a mat here- yoga is very popular in Korea at the moment.

My wife bought one in Homeplus recently. Sure you can get them in other places too.

I just bought a 4mm mat for 5000 won at Daiso, you can get thicker and better ones all over the place for a bit more. At emart I think the 7mm ones were 14,000, and they had a lot of variety with the most expensive ones coming in at 50,000!

Don't waste the suitcase space!

Thanks. I won't bother bringing mine. Good thing, because I'm out of suitcase space.

Buy it here, unless it is something really special.

Many things can be found here. Anything else big you have you wondering if you should leave behind.
