can anyone shed some light on this bizarre pension situation?
i worked for 5 months at K-army teaching english. i decided to go back home.
i call the pension office with an army person who acts as a go between for these types of matters
after they chatted in korean, the coworkers tells me that the army just gives me 5months worth of pension back... then she asks for my bankbook.
a few days later, she asks me to work on a sunday along with everyone else. i say no because they told me 2days in advance and i already had tickets books. plus, next tuesday is my very last day.
2 hours after i said NO
i get an email saying "army policy, we made mistake, army doesn't do pension unless work over one year."
obviously i can't get any info until monday
any ideas??
I can't believe a matter like this would be open for army (or any) interpretation. it's a simple matter! |
