Hey,

My Hakwon's principal, who has been batModEdit crazy since she came halfway through our year, is up to it again. We all wrote Christmas cards to go home to the kids over the holiday, and apparently one came back.

When the principal found out, she came into the lunchroom where all the Korean teachers and the students were, started aggressively poking her in the head with a finger and demanding what she was going to do about this. Upon closer inspection, the family had moved apartments over the holidays, and the new tenant did a return to sender. Then the principal said that she should give it to the parent the next time the coteacher sees the parent. No apology or anything.

Is there any course for her to take on this issue that would send a message to the principal to ModEdit off? We are all tired of her incessant ModEdit, but we think she has really crossed the line this time. I am not talking full blown law suit, but surely the employee has some right not to be treated in this way at work.

The next time she physically assaults one of you, record it on video and call the police. The police will bring along a translator if needed, and there's absolutely no reason for any of you to suffer physical abuse form your boss. It's just disgusting behavior.

Who is her? Student, parent, worker, or teacher?

By "her" I assume you mean another teacher? Try to phrase this without pronouns before introducing the characters.

Treated it what way? Again pronouns don't help to describe the situation.

You mention apology but also explain a situation that doesn't need an apology. So what is the point of your post?

Just give it to the parents next time like the principal suggested. Sorry, I don't understand your beef.

She can also file a complaint under section 8 of the labor standards act then get a new job (not having LOR won't be an issue to transfer her visa).

If the "She" is a Korean staff member then she can just file the section 8 complaint and find a new job cause she won't last long where she is.

getting poked in the head in front of your students and coworkers is ok where you are from?

Maybe the principal should have looked at the letter first, and saw that it was returned to sender and investigate why rather than assume the teacher had sent it to the wrong address.
Let's pretend she did send it to the wrong address, then it would be ok to approach her in front of others and aggressively poke her in the head asking what she's going to do about it?[/quote]
