Also, are their any benefits of applying directly? I have read conflicting information. |
It's a personal preference. Applying to the central office is much like applying to EPIK-- you're accepted and then they place you anywhere in Gyeonggi-do. If you go through a recruiter, you interview directly with GEPIK schools and you can accept or turn down offers depending on whether you like the school/age level/location, etc. If you don't care where you're placed, or don't want to bother with having to work with several recruiters and/or doing several interviews with schools, then apply to the central office. If you want a say in where you are placed and what age level you work with, then go through a recruiter.
Not too sure if the site you listed is GEPIK's, although it is in Gyeonggi-do. |

When I applied directly, I was able to talk with the school and visit. When I applied through GEPIK, I was transferred from one stranger on the phone to the next. I stopped showing interest after the 5th person and never completed the process. |
