Can someone tell me if there's a laundromat in HBC? Just moved to this neighborhood and I don't have a washer. I'm sure there is one somewhere but haven't been able to explore much yet and haven't seen one.

There is no laundromat. You can take your laundry to the dry cleaner across from Family Mart. It cost about 15k won per load. Load is about a duffel bag worth of clothes.

that's the closest thing from a laundromat in this area.

you can also buy a used one - often portables are available which hook up to a kitchen or bathroom sink - for 100,000 or less

ask around, there are several places in HBC that sell used stuff

I second Luckylady. Walk across the pedestrian bridge into Kyungnidan and at the bottom of the bridge is a bakery on a corner. Go down that street and at the florist shop/El Grecos turn right and go down the main street. Down one of the little alleyways there is a HUGE secondhand store that has stuff in two buildings. You can get a cheap washer/dryer set there. They might even drop down the price INCLUDING delivery. My husband and I bought a huge leather couch that was originally 250,000, but with delivery they dropped it down to 200,000. Site: http://secondhand.co.kr/eng/info/location.php
