Can someone tell me if there's a laundromat in HBC? Just moved to this neighborhood and I don't have a washer. I'm sure there is one somewhere but haven't been able to explore much yet and haven't seen one. |

There is no laundromat. You can take your laundry to the dry cleaner across from Family Mart. It cost about 15k won per load. Load is about a duffel bag worth of clothes.
that's the closest thing from a laundromat in this area. |

you can also buy a used one - often portables are available which hook up to a kitchen or bathroom sink - for 100,000 or less
ask around, there are several places in HBC that sell used stuff |

I second Luckylady. Walk across the pedestrian bridge into Kyungnidan and at the bottom of the bridge is a bakery on a corner. Go down that street and at the florist shop/El Grecos turn right and go down the main street. Down one of the little alleyways there is a HUGE secondhand store that has stuff in two buildings. You can get a cheap washer/dryer set there. They might even drop down the price INCLUDING delivery. My husband and I bought a huge leather couch that was originally 250,000, but with delivery they dropped it down to 200,000. Site: http://secondhand.co.kr/eng/info/location.php
