Is this the inaugural event here in Korea or has this expanded over the years?
Nice lineup: Tiesto, Skrillex, Digweed, Steve Aoki and others.

VIP ticket ordering isn't available yet tho. |

Ken Ishii is the only one I would like to see. Saw him at mansion before - was pretty good but I think electronic music has changed a lot since the good times of the 80s and 90s and needs to go back underground for a rethink (read: Skrillex, dubstep USA, Tiesto etc...)
The death of Vinyl and the rise of the internet etc.. (shut up grandad!) |

I realise the youngsters are into swedish house mafia but I'm cut from a different cloth. One can only hope for education but honestly it is a different era these days. Pirates are gone and so are the record shops. A few select soldiers still releasing and mixing records but beatport is the future it seems.
Dance music has very quickly become pop and they are catering to the lowest common denominator in the name of profit

Who all went?
I didn't feel the cost of admission was worth it. |

I went on Friday and I am very glad I did. I couldn't find anyone to go with so I went alone and it was very much worth it. It was easily the greatest concert I've ever been to - even better than seeing Daft Punk in London. The crowd was electric (which actually caught me off guard) - I hadn't heard of Sidney Sampson before the concert, but that man was pretty great at remixing, Aoki was awesome and Skrillex was just out of this world. (http://twitter.com/Skrillex/status/231416311429865472)
The only downside was that the temperature most of the day was around 95 degrees and the temperature in the crowd must have been close to 105. I went through about 12 bottles of water in 8 hours and all my clothes were soaked through with sweat by the end of the day. All in all though, it was a great experience and well worth the 110k. |

dude, that is a very BIG call man.
either you were not having a good time that night in london, the wrong friends, or the wrong stimulants or something.
but there is no way that the 50.000 dry Koreans, dancing in crazy heat was better than a 2am daft punk concert in London! NOWAY.
hey , I am sure the part was great 50.000 people and everyone high on soju and all young people dancing with energy. but better than daft punk? LOL |
