I recently moved to Yeonsinnae and there's not too much going on here as far as a foreigner scene goes... Okay, there's absolutely NOTHING going on in that regard. However, I stumbled upon a little Irish pub that just opened with GOOD western food and good drinks as well. The problem is that there is never anyone there and I'm afraid the place won't last. It's nice to have an alternative to Korean food and a local watering hole so I'm doing a bit of advertising here to hopefully liven the place up and keep it open for the duration of my contract. If there are any foreigners in this area then check this place out... hell, pm me and I'll meet you there for a pint. Cheers!

Welcome to the neighborhood! Found that place about three weeks ago, soon after they opened, thanks to another friend that lives in the area. Yes, there are a couple of us around, the ones I know are married and have kids, but we are known to go out for a pint or two still. Send a PM if you want to get together, or if you need anything. Are you at a PS or a hagwon?

Apparently I don't have enough posts to allow me to PM another member. Strange but there is a minimum of 25 posts... I guess I haven't posted too much here. Not sure how to get around this other than posting 25 times. This one will get me up to about five.

Just go to Current Events forum and randomly write, "good point" or "It's a very subjective matter", on the end of random threads! Very Happy

Back on topic, the fish n chips there are fantastic! I'm not normally a Guinness drinker, but found their Guinness quite good as well. Damn, now I've got an itch to get down there and have some...

Yeah, the fish and chips is (are?) fantastic there. The burger is really freakin good too. They make all of there food including salsa, dressings, and so forth from scratch. I especially like the Guiness! Haven't done bloodies and brunch yet but that's certainly on the docket for some Sunday.

I am working on the 100 pint card but have a long ways to go. Trouble is that I've been the only person in there every time I've went and get bored quickly.
