Anyone on here using frequency lists and scripts from television shows to study Korean? I've seen my students progress pretty quickly when I make scripts up for them using frequency lists and want to give it a try to learn Korean. But, I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to. |

There is no such list of frequency by their appearance on television. There are lists (most notably the 6000 list) for printed media. There is even a book of the same title out there. The book comes with a downloadable mp3 |

I think you need to elaborate what you mean. are you implying that you would download a script and run it through a word frequency list program eg. antconc?.
the problem i came across was lemmatisation. let me know if you find a workaround. Honestly i didn't delve much deeper after that failure |

I've been using one of the frequency lists on Wikipedia to study (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Frequency_lists/Korean_5800) and have found it very helpful. I don't use scripts from movies, etc., much personally, but I do know there are sites with tons of scripts available if that's something you're interested in doing. |
