Hey, looking for some help. I have the address of my school and I'm just trying to pinpoint it exactly on google earth. I'm having no luck. Was hoping someone might help me out.
Also any experience with this area?

There ya go.
**edit One more thing OP: plug 광탄 중 학교 into Daum maps, it's the local Google Map and will give you street view. You can "walk around" the area and take a virtual tour.
Can be found here,

It's in Korean but it's a map. A little experimentation and you should do just fine. Good luck!

Ha, they called Paju a city. That's cute. More like a cluster of buildings just this side of the Korean border. |

About as close to the DMZ you can get without buying a ticket, as I recall. It isnt a big city, but probably not a bad place to be. |

Well if you have unstoppable optimism like those guys, you should be fine. Pretty amazing how the three foreigners in Paju all became friends.
1hr40min to Seoul. Just so you know. |

Well, if the North did invade and that is a big if, you would be one of the very first to know.
Not sure if that's a pro or a con to you.

Would it be considered more rural? Less westernized?
I'm worried about isolation being nearly 2 hours from Seoul, curious about plentiful things to do. |

The 90th Artillery Brigade is in the area so you can always run to them. |

I'd run away from them. |

Run to the target. No thanks. I'm heading to Costco's deep basement full of food. |
