I just got an email from my recruiter

I've received your documents well at our office today. It will be sent to your school and you will get visa number within in 2weeks. I would like you to be prepared for sealed transcript from your university while you're waiting for your visa number becaue you have to send the transcript to Korean consulate office with your visa number. Please let me know if you have any other questions. |
I thought the Korean consulate didn't require transcripts anymore? If I have a few "blips" on my transcript (my 4 year degree ended up taking 5 years due to a little bit of messing up in college) is that going to hurt me? |

Get the transcripts. They are not needed by immigration. They are still often required by the consulate.
Your academic record means nothing so don't lose any sleep over it.
