I've heard they sell out really early... but the KTX website seems to say I can't buy them until a month before my traveling date.
Feel like going to Busan for the weekend. Anyone know how? I've heard traffic will be awful, so want to avoid the bus. |

Yes. The tickets go on sale at a very specific time for those dates. They sell out in under 5 minutes usually.
usually they start at 6 am I believe. The whole country is awake with their mouse on the buy button at that time. Good luck. |

I think 1 month before.. but I'm not sure. You could ask a coworker. I'm sure there is a good chance one of them will be trying to buy tickets.
Usually for the 2 big holidays the whole country goes to their home towns. Usually like 10 million people leave seoul, imagine what that does to the transit systems.
No real fair way to sell tickets to that kind of group. |
