|
|
I left for Korea for 2 months, and just returned. I left about 20,000 in my account. Not a lot, but enough for my coming cellphone bill (my previous director was going to turn it into the company for me.... 2 year contract, and I had it 2 years).
However, when I returned I had a zero balance. Could this be because they closed the account because of insignificant funds? Or my cellphone bill could have been more than 20k (automatically withdraws from my account). If so, what happens?
I want to use this account still (KEB), but I don't want to pay a lot in a penalty as a result of insignificant funds for a cellphone bill. |

| Really, guy? I mean is Dave's the correct place for you inquiry. Login to your account and check where your money went. Or go to the bank and update your bank book. Better yet, call the bank. |

Call the bank. Considering how long KEB can keep you on hold at times possibly the phone call might cost more than the amount you're querying
As far as not enough funds, I had 800 won sitting unused in an account for over a year while I was out of Korea. Came back and it was still all there. That was KEB also.
Call or visit the bank and ask. |

| If your bill was higher than 20, they cleaned out your acct. Your acct will still be open though. No penalties |
